Victoria and Alberts Museum: Research Drawings

For our final drawing course we would go to the Victoria and Albert museum to practice drawing from observation. I initially was thinking of using this time to practice for making drawings in october in Norway for my final project, but after drawing a similar Norse carved portal in the cast courts i became more and more attached to it. I would then change my final research project for next year to be based on these drawings and the things I learned.

The Cast would be based on a stave church constructed in Hallingdal Norway that existed from the years 1170-1880.
