CHARME Internship Final Project

CHARME Internship Final Project

Final week of the CHARME Project in Hundisburg Germany. This would be our wrapping up with one final project which was to install a stone memorial plaque on the previously constructed folly by our classmates last year. For this, Roland and I would need to drill out a portion of the stone wall and then back fill it with plaster. Then we would insert the plaque and repoint up the wall with mortar of the same color. Drilling the stone was quite difficult, and we would eventually have to get a larger impact drill to finish the job.

Starting the project, our first goal was to remove one single stone to give more space to maneuver the drill. This first stone would be the most difficult, until we were able to get a larger drill.
